4. Broken brace alert!

I am in Crete at the moment and my braces broke which wasn't good! The wire threaded through the back bracket clicked out and was left hanging in my mouth- when I touched it it bent into my gum which was pretty sore- all of this from eating a piece of pineapple!

I was panicking because I didn't know where I would be able to go to get it fixed as I knew I wasn't going home for a few days but luckily I managed to bend the wire, as it is so thin, and slot it back into the hole in the bracket so there is no problem!

I recommend doing this rather than going to the orthodontists for them to do it as it is much easier although it is difficult to do to yourself so I would recommend asking someone to do it for you using tweezers.
