Treatment timeline
1. Firstly you have a consoltation appointment discussing your treatment.
2. They usually take 2 x-rays, some pictures of your face and teeth from different angles and some measurements for their records.
3. On your third appointment they usually take the moulds of your teeth using a thick mixture that looks like clay- this isn't very pleasant but it is only in your mouth for about 30 seconds until it sets so it isn't that bad!
4. Now is usually the appointment where you get your braces fitted- you can read about this in the blog section.
5. You have to return every 6-8 weeks to get your braces tightened by them putting a thicker wire in. You may also have to return inbetween in case any part of your braces break.
